NexusLite – a Professional Grade Entry Level Access Controller
The Amano NexusLite is a full featured, stand-alone Access Control System supporting up to 1,000 Tagholders and 5,000 transactions. Designed for ease of use, the NexusLite System allows for the real-time monitoring and controlling of residential, as well as small and medium commercial and industrial sites. The NexusLite Controller out of the box will control up to (2) doors (hardware & installation sold seperately) and is expandable to 8 total doors with up to 16 Readers. The Nexus Lite will process & keep in memory (buffers up to 5,000 events) all door access requests independent of PC so the system is never down and never misses a transaction. The NexusLite uses an IP Remote Communications protocol so it can be managed on site or over the internet with the opening of certain ports by your IT manager. With the ability to grow from a single door standalone system up to a multi-site, multi door enterprise system, the NexusLite offers unparalleled scalability whilst maintaining a cost effective entry point into the access control market.

The Nexus 220 introduces the next generation in access control by bridging the gap between small and medium access applications. Perfectly balanced to offer enterprise level features in a cost effective manner, the Nexus220 system will meet today’s stringent security requirements while maintaining an ease of use and setup that is unparalleled. Nexus220 will buffers up to 20,000 events (128 Reader & 10,000 card capacity) and uses IP Remote Communications protocol. Nexus220 offers a range of hardware and software, allowing a single door system to grow beyond 250 doors with building management controls, elevator control and various reader and biometric options. Web-based clients and reporting ensure that the system is not tied to a single location, allowing multiple system administrators simultaneous access for enrollment and reporting purposes.

Amano’s biometric integration, that includes central enrollment of fingerprints and intelligent distribution of templates to readers, resides in our Nexus220 and AmanoNet access control systems. This allows for 100% identification of every user in the access control system and guarantees that only those with the valid credentials get access to the locations control by Morpho biometric readers. Further, AmanoNet supports the Government Issued TWIC credential authentication on the Morpho biometric readers for Maritime applications.
