Videofied sees WHAT triggered the alarm

The Videofied alarm records and immediately sends HPI’s Central Monitoring Station a short video of  the event that triggered your alarm’s motion sensors. HPI installs the Videofied Alarm System MotionViewers in place of standard blind motion detectors in strategic and critical areas inside and outside of your premises. An alarm event causes video to be sent to the monitoring center for verification and dispatch of police if not a false alarm.

Videofied Alarm Systems are used for verification not identification. It is not a CCTV surveillance system (which HPI also sells and installs) that simply records videos that are later, after the crime is discovered, viewed by the owner. Rather, Videofied is a complete video alarm system that sends a short video clip with the alarm notification to the central station for immediate review. Videofied links the video with the central station – self-surveillance does not. A monitored video alarm delivers quicker police dispatch. 

Applications: Videofied can be used anywhere security is needed: as an upgrade or piggybacked onto an existing security or more often as a standalone alarm system. Videofied is most often used in commercial premises and yards or construction sites in a silent , but it is equally suited for interior and fenced residential premises,  as several of HPI’s clients can attest to. 

The Videofied Alarm is designed for “Video Verification” purposes only. If a human intruder is viewed (with the help of computer analytics) to be in the protected area when the alarm system is armed, all downloading of video clips will be stopped and the dispatcher will turn to taking appropriate action per your approved action plan (ex. Dispatch police or call your contact list etc.). The remainder of the clip(s) and further clips that come in during that incident may or may not be downloaded and reviewed.
